TNPL - Tamil Nadu Premier League
TNPL is a Twenty20 cricket league that was established in August 2016 by the Tamil Nadu State Cricket Association. The competition is modelled on the lines of the popular Indian Premier League. Only cricketers registered in Tamil Nadu are eligible to participate in the competition. The league is aimed at providing a platform for Tamil Nadu players to exhibit their talent and to develop their skills to play competitive T20 matches.
TNPL is a franchise-based T20 cricket tournament comprising of eight teams who will be competing against each other.
